In the 1950s, Juan José Areizaga had
already founded a Gastronomic
Society in Rentería…

…and ran the oil company
KOIPE and SAVIN,
the first Spanish winery.

In the 1960s he began his journey
in the world of real estate
with Construcciones Areizaga

Antxon Areizaga joined the company in 1977
which, four decades later, would
become the largest estate
agents in Gipuzkoa

By the 1970s Areizaga was
erecting buildings in places in
San Sebastian such as Lorea, Miraconcha
and Avenida de la Libertad and residentia
developments in Valle de Aran.

In the 1980s, Areizaga began specialising
in Residential and Retail
estate consultancy.

On March 14th, 2000 areizaga.com
was born and, in just a few
years, it became the largest
agent portal in Gipuzkoa

In 2018 Areizaga became the
first agency in the Basque Country
to incorporate virtual tours that would
later be offered by the major estate
agent websites.
